Denese Espeut-Post offers each of her clients a decade of legal experience and professional training in a reassuring and informative environment. She strives to ensure client confidence in the legal matter being handled and the manner in which it is handled. She takes a great deal of pride in her work and you will see that pride carry through in the service she provides to you.

Denese received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba in 1997 and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in July 2000. She was called to the Alberta Bar in July 2001 and the British Columbia Bar in June 2009. Denese began her legal career with the Federal Department of Justice where she gained extensive experience as a criminal litigator. She consistently and successfully assumed responsibility for several complex litigation matters. She has appeared in all levels of court in Alberta, provided training to police officers and federal investigators and mentored junior lawyers.

Denese is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the International Association of Wine Lawyers and Penticton Women in Business, Summerland Merchants’ Association, and Summerland’s Community Cultural Development Committee. She is a past member of the Edmonton Humane Society’s Board of Directors. Denese instructs law related courses for the wine industry at Okanagan College.

Denese has also obtained Certified in Management and Professional Manager designations from the Canadian Institute of Management.

Nicole McFadyen 

Nicole graduated from Father Mercredi High School in 2002.  Soon after graduating she started working as a runner with an Alberta law firm and slowly made her way to an administrative position.  Nicole worked there until 2007 when she decided to be a stay at home mom to her 2 children.

Nicole relocated to British Columbia in 2012 and eager to get back into the work force, she joined Avery Law Office.  She looks forward to taking on new challenges and engaging clients in a pleasant welcoming manner.  Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors.
